I have been hanging for that manager of Affliction’s story and I have arrived! I feel like such a groupie!
For the last three and a half years Sasha has had a secret yearning for the band’s lead guitarist Mick Savage. Savage hasn’t got a clue other than he wants women … all women. He doesn’t discriminate. He can’t get from point A to point B without going for a bit of T&A!
For three and a half long years Sasha has watched him walk away with another chick on his arm when she was wishing it was her. Finally, finally Mick opens his eyes but Sasha has too much at stake.
I really liked this story. Throughout the other stories, whenever Sasha would pop up, I would wonder about her story and background and it’s just as good as I expected. Mick, I have renamed you aptly, Mick the Prick – coz you are! You are a wimp. You are a bastard and I cussed you out mentally like you wouldn’t believe. It’s really a gift of the author to bring on such a strong reaction out of me, especially when the people I’m reading about aren’t even real! **gasp** yes, I went there!
**spoiler!** **Highlight the mouse over this part to read the spoiler** I don’t get violent in real life but I still want to punch Mick the Prick in the head but Sasha takes care of that. I love the reappearance of characters and it’s great to see them progressing with their lives.
People will be sick of me singing Amity’s praises but there are many things that I just appreciate with her writing style and the wonderfully strong heroines she brings to life. I have not picked up one of her books yet and thought ‘pfft – she’s so weak!’ the total opposite. They are perfectly flawed, fearless and real. These are the kinds of role models I would have loved to read about when I was growing up. Passive aggressive is not in Amity’s writing make up. Please, for the love of God, don’t change your writing. You have the gift, you nail it every single time. I know I’m going to shed a tear when this series is over. I make no bones about it. I’m super pumped but super sad for novella number 6, Unstoppable.
I bought this novella with my own money and I always give an honest review
