Lust and friendship brought us together, but with the increasing demands of my two businesses, Hannah’s thriving bakery, and our successful event-planning company, stability becomes my focus.
Then a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity takes me to the West Coast, and everything goes into a tailspin.
Laughter, love, and excitement fill our lives, but Cade refuses to settle into the wonderful bliss we’ve found—he wants spectacular fireworks and an unshakable foundation. Driven like no one I’ve ever met, Cade insists a dream job across the country will be better for our future together, but I worry about whether we can survive the present apart.
When intimate time diminishes…and lives get more hectic…
Will a little bit of faith be all that it takes? Or will the sacrifice to get there be too great?
Welcome back to Cade and Hannah’s story where they have dealt with their own insecurities, their ex’s and their thriving businesses in books before – I was hanging to see what they had in store for me.
I love the twist of Hannah’s father and my heart melted in the scene where she’s waiting to meet up with him. Even through all the other stories where they have had their ups and downs, this, this scene right here defines their relationship. My heart was racing through the scene when the earthquakes hits, not for the characters safety but for their relationships wellbeing.
The ‘adult situations’ are plentiful and HOT! They have certainly come a long way since the first non-date. I really have enjoyed this series, it’s had me laughing in hysterics, laughing at Hannah’s kick ass streak, cringing at Cade’s cockiness and crying happy tears for all the steps they have taken to show that they are truly made for each other. This one is no exception. I’m not going to lie when I hug my kindle – this story got it a hug!
Kat and Stone Bastion certainly weave a magical story and I’m sad to see the series ending. I always feel a little emotional after I’ve invested my time to learn and go along with their journey. This series definitely falls into the category of ‘this will last forever because they are meant to be together’. Cade and Hannah complement each other in every single way. The ending is just perfection for these two. Just perfection!
I bought a copy of this book with my own money.
