Return to the horrible and haunted New Gotham in the third installment of The Darkest Night: An Erotic Fairy Tale.
Marshall Ansley, our vampire prince charming, is finally under Elsa’s spell. Figuratively and literally. Their epic battle of wills continues, but they haven’t the time to worry with that right now. Bits and Pieces must be saved, Sinister Stitches must be signed–there is grand Christmas ball to survive. (Oh, what an ordeal.) Meanwhile, trouble is sailing toward them… Someone is coming… Someone bad… It could be a vampire. It might be a witch. Only time and the stroke of midnight will tell.
Reader Warning: Expect hilariously inappropriate jokes, some brand new (crazy) characters, and don’t get too comfortable–everything is getting ready to go to HELL. Best to bring your good stake, just in case.
This is my favourite book by far in this series. Marshall and Elsa are finally on the same page and are together. This series gets better and stronger with each instalment and the tendrils of their relationship get thinner.
What strikes me about their relationship is that they are both dominants. Elsa takes the leap of faith and submits to Marshall but not in reverse. Until now. And who knew it could be this good!
Gwyneth who appears in the other books makes a strong reappearance in this one and she’s causing trouble. A fiery fight of who is with Marshall ensues and so come a massive showdown.
The showdown did not end like I wanted it too. I honestly don’t know how it’s going to pan out in book four but I’m itching to find out.
I was kindly provided with a free copy of this book from the author to provide an honest review. Receiving this book for free did not influence my opinion nor review.
