Live for today…
Tomorrow isn’t a promise.
This is the motto of Bryant and Rose’s relationship, especially considering the roller coaster they’ve been through over the past few years.
The problem is, neither of them took into consideration the past they tried to keep hidden.
Until it’s too late.
Soon they both realize they are being suffocated by the secrets of their pasts they have kept from one another. When the past collides with the present, it becomes the ultimate test to their relationship with more people hoping it fails, than survives.
They must rely on each other like never before as they fight to survive the secrets they now regret keeping from one another. While tomorrow isn’t a promise, with the past waging a war, Bryant and Rose may not be able to survive–even today.
Skeletons always have a way of coming out of the closet, and secrets never remain that way. Rose and Bryant’s past is about to wage war, are you ready?
Just when I didn’t think I could have my heart broken by these two anymore. Life looks good for Rose and Bryant till her past catches up to her. Jordan’s back in the mix messing with everyone’s heads continuing on the delicious love triangle.
I didn’t expect this to be the story but that’s the joy of Megan’s writing, expect the unexpected. I devoured this book and that’s what I adore about books – how they suck me in. I love the growth of these characters and the new relationship they forge. I had a lot of trouble trusting Bryant but he seems like a changed man and I like the new version of him.
With everything that Rose has had to handle in her own life, the horrid mother in law tries her best and fails. An ex-girlfriend of Bryant’s is no match for Rose but she also tries her best. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. I have to wonder – are these characters based on real people.
I have said that Megan is a formidable writer when she’s partnered with her Hourglass partner but I take that back. Megan can stand firm in her writing abilities. She spins a tale that will leave you wanting more, a storyline that digs into your brain and a flow that rocks you to your core. What I love about Megan’s writing is the flow.
If I were to list all the drama that goes on in this book – people would be turned off but the way she manages the pacing and how her characters manage each set back is truly a marvel. Megan is able to hit me right in the feels as I’m talking to my kindle with the ‘yeahs!’ or the ‘noooo!’
Megan has been elevated to my automatic buy list.
