Picking up where Wrecked left off, Lorrie is still searching for answers for her mother’s murder, she’s trying to come to terms with the way that she and Hunter left their relationship while trying to keep herself from falling down the slippery slope of depression.
I will say right up front that this is a sad book. They are dealing with the guts of their issues and it’s not pretty. I don’t know how dealing with their issues could be portrayed in a happy light. I guess that’s why there are kittens.
This should definitely be read only if you have read Wrecked.
This is a unique love story. They are both coming to terms with their own blockages while trying to forge ahead with their relationship. It’s a tough road to travel and really puts their own notions to the test. West has written a believable story line and the characters are really faced with adversity. You can’t help but feel for these characters and start to think to yourself – ‘how would I cope with this’.
There are a few questions I have from this book but I’m hoping these characters will cross into the third instalment Reckless.
I bought a copy of this book with my one money.
