The exotic dancers and employees of the Queen of Clubs walk a fine line, with only wits, beauty, and market savvy to keep them from toppling into the shark pit. Ride shotgun through lapdances, romance, and sexual awakenings. Don’t worry, these girls won’t ask what your hands are doing under the tip rail.
A former ballet dancer turned stripper ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. What could be worse than ending up in your first love’s lap…at his brother’s bachelor party?
Sweet, sassy and smokin’ hot!
Short stories have a special place in my heart – there’s no time for padding. It’s great to just get into the meat of a character’s story and this is no exception. Right from the beginning, you have a sense that Malia is a tough cookie. If she’s dealt with the drama that a dance academy can throw at her, she can deal with the other women and their petty push for dominance in the stripper world.
Malia is all business until she comes face to face with the ghost of her past comes front and centre as she’s about to take to the stage. After a little stage fright, she can’t seem to shake him. I love Malia as a character. She’s tough, she’s forthright and strong. She has her own heartache that has nothing to do with a man.
I love a second chance at love story and this one warmed the heart.
Miscommunication and unfinished business sees these two get a happy ending for now. Not sure if their relationship will last the distance. I am really liking this series and can’t wait to get my kindle loaded with the next one.
