Play Me Right by Tracy Wolff
Series: Play With Me
Genre: Erotica – BDSM
My name is Aria Winston. I’ve fought desperately to escape the seedy underbelly of Las Vegas. Now I’m in control of my own life and my own destiny . . . but my future belongs to Sebastian Caine.
Technically, Aria may still be in one piece, but she’s feeling pretty damn close to broken. While she knows Sebastian would die before hurting her, their intense, steamy encounters have opened up old wounds in them both. Now Aria is considering the unthinkable: walking away again—this time to save Sebastian from the pain she knows her past will cause him. But Sebastian’s the one who set her free in the first place—how can she not show him the same care and compassion? Because, in the end, being together forever is the only thing that feels right.
We are back for the finale and I had high expectations not only for the story but for the characters. Sebastian is losing himself at the thought of Aria leaving him. Yes they have been together for a week and have explosive sex sessions but she is everything that he wants in both a partner and a submissive.
Aria is a runner. When things overwhelm her – she gives herself some space. We finally learn what was implied and I was curious to know if the truth would be too much to handle when it’s all or nothing? Thankfully, he makes the right decision. I’m excited for the cross over series featuring Ethan.
I was expecting and hoping for a more dramatic end. Yes, the characters were engaging, the story line unique but I just had a higher hope for the ending.
This is the first of Wolff’s writing I have experienced and will definitely be looking up her other works.
I was given a free copy of this story for my honest opinion.
