We are back and we are about to see Rachel Livingstone become Mrs Malcolm Saint. To me, I thoroughly enjoyed this story albeit, the shortness. All the character development and conflict is certainly held in the first two books, I was left wanting and waiting for something to happen – of course then I have to ask myself – does something have to happen in each book?
The answer to that is yes. For me to feel the complete experience, I need to feel invested. To feel the feels of the characters. I enjoyed the nerves, the goodbyes, the uncomfortable comfortableness when she moved in. Saint is very set in his ways and some of the things he was pushing made Rachel uncomfortable. In some ways, he was dismissive and that got my hackles up.
A wonderfully fitting end … or is it?
I bought a copy of this book with my own money.
