Theo and Naomi want nothing more than to spend the rest of their life together as husband and wife. The only hold up has been Theo’s brother Marcus – without him there, Theo didn’t feel right about sealing his union with the woman he loves.
When Marcus finally swallows his pride and returns to the family, he realises just how much damage his silence has done and endeavours to right some of those wrongs by giving his brother and Naomi their dream wedding.
The problem is – whose dream wedding is it?
This novella takes us three years into the Naomi and Theo love story. Things are bliss. They are living together, they are engaged, only person who doesn’t seem to be impressed with this arrangement is Theo’s mother.
There is a side splitting scene that had me rolling around on the floor, tears down my face, gasping for air laughing so hard – was so mortified for both the characters involved.
It’s great to see the gang getting back together for updates on their lives. I find myself grinning as I read these books. I have to say that this novella is just how a novella should be written. Enough story so it’s wrapped up quickly but packs a powerful punch – full of emotion and blends seamlessly into the series. There are novellas out there that just dwell or there’s no chance for character or story development because it goes so fast. Lilliana cannot be accused of those two book crimes.
This series really is, beautiful.
I bought a copy of this book with my own money.
