A Beautiful Series Book 3 – May be read on its own, or in order.
Naomi thought she’d met someone wonderful when Elliot came into her life, but he simply wasn’t into her. It’s the story of her life.
While everyone around her is settling down, she gives up on trying to find her Mr Right, and turns back to the one thing she has always loved – music.
Enter Marcus, he was a year above Naomi at school and she always had a killer crush on him. He now fronts a band with his older brother Theo.
Marcus has the reputation of a playboy and Theo, well… he’s just bad news. But their band is doing well and Naomi has the chance to join.
After spending some time in their company, Naomi see’s something in each of them she can’t ignore. She wonders if joining the band was perhaps a bad idea – you should never mix business with pleasure. Especially when that pleasure could divide families…
Rockstar romances are my idea of reading heaven. This is a tale about second chance love, the mask of love and taking a risk that means you could lose big.
It’s not very often that I’m divided over the Hero. I wanted both Theo and Marcus to get their happy ever afters and in a way, it’s not easily come by. Lilliana has proven to me she can write a good bastard. You know, the hero that you back all the way until he does something stupid and you instantly dislike but still love. Confusing, yes, but Lilliana writes it way better than I can explain.
Reading Lilliana’s writing is like a hot cup of tea. It’s soothing, it’s comforting and if you are not careful, you can easily burn yourself. I have been caught out with the romance and heartache with this series and I love it! Although the formula is pretty much the same, Lilliana is able to keep this series fresh with intriguing new characters.
I’m loving the cross over character’s reappearances. They keep me updating on what’s going on in their worlds. It’s good to see how the other characters are going with life.
I wasn’t sure which way Naomi was going to go but you’ll just have to read it to see which brother holds not just her heart but her soul. How Lilliana weaves so many stories into the one dazzles me. I love the themes of rekindling love. Being brave enough to know when to let go and when it’s really time to move on. This book had me snickering as much as it had me trying to hold the sobs in. Highly recommend this read.
I bought a copy of this book with my own money.
